Two crafts and a common motive: Nobody knows more about knives like Elwin. In his search for the perfect knife block to store his knives, he contacted René, an expert in woodworking (GrillopMaat). By joining their passion they came up with an innovative and unique solution. Both gentlemen found their inspiration for the shape in the handles of Japanese traditional knives. The simplicity of the traditional handle forms the basis of the shape and the name: Rokkakkei.
