After testing many materials, a freshly sharpened knife really cuts through everything: leather, plastic and other materials, nothing can compete with a sharp blade or sharp point. Canvas turns out to be the stiffest material that offers the most resistance. To make the sheaths last even longer, we always recommend not to overfill the folder and/or tighten it too much.
Even better, we sell very nice plastic sayas in 4 different sizes: a plastic sheath filled with felt that clamps around the blade and thus protects the cutting edge. A nice side effect of this protector: it now also protects your kniferoll. With these protectors, all pockets can also be filled and you do not have to worry about damage.
